Hello and what not. At the University of Oregon, I worked in Raghuveer Parthasarathy's lab in the Materials Science Institute. I worked on developing and applying new methods of measuring lipid bio-membrane (the dash means this is serious business) mechanical properties. In particular, I investigated dehydration resistance in tuberculosis causing bacteria and develop methods of measuring the viscosity of two-dimensional membranes.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer and watching movies. I try to take pictures but I don't think I have yet attained the lofty status of "photographer."
